Council advises that scheduled waste collection services will be interrupted this week due to adverse weather conditions resulting in flooding and road closures across Cessnock Local Government Area.
Services will resume as soon as practicable following the re-opening of affected roads/bridges. Council asks that residents put their bins out on their normal bin day for collection when waste vehicles have safe access.
Cessnock Waste Management Centre remains open but access will be limited to the transfer facility only, with no access to the landfill face due to safety risks.
