The Cessnock Local Government Area has been declared a disaster zone following the March 2021 flood. If you were adversely impacted by the event, you may be eligible for support.

Emergency road closures
Pokolbin Park: Work is still being undertaken in Pokolbin Park and short duration closures will be necessary in order to install additional lighting and security cameras over the next few months (March, April, May).
All sporting grounds are OPEN.
Sporting ground updates are posted on Council's Facebook and Twitter pages as well as here on the website.
Please note: All clubs are required to inspect grounds and complete risk assessments prior to use.
