Bus stop relocation – McGrane Street, Cessnock

Background

Cessnock City Council is working towards ensuring that bus stop infrastructure within the Cessnock Local Government Area complies with the provisions of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT).

The determination of bus stop site locations throughout NSW is managed directly by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) in consultation with local councils and public transport providers.

Relocation of the existing bus stop and shelter from outside 22 Love Street (on McGrane Street) to outside 48A McGrane Street is necessary as the current location is not amenable to achieving compliance with DSAPT due to site constraints.

When
Works anticipated to take place during November 2023

Location

Southern side of McGrane Street, Cessnock, between Allandale Road and Love Street.
