Join the Cessnock Nature Watch movement! The Cessnock LGA has important endangered ecological communities and threatened species like the Regent Honeyeater, Swift Parrot, and vulnerable woodland fauna that rely on healthy natural habitats year-round. Weeds and pests not only compete with native plants but also reduce habitat quality for these species, so observing, and helping manage problem plants contributes to local biodiversity conservation.
