Cessnock City Council is giving away 17 double passes to the inaugural Hunter Valley Wildlife Park Community Day on Sunday 18 June, just by supporting local.

To win, all you need to do is tell us about your favourite tourism experience in the Cessnock Local Government Area, such as visiting an amazing attraction, tourism business, gallery, vineyard or anything else you think should be showcased.

Mayor of the City of Cessnock Jay Suvaal said with so many amazing places to visit across our local government area I know it will be hard for people to pick just one that’s why we encourage entering multiple times.

“The Cessnock region has some of the most exciting tourism experiences on offer, anywhere in the State. Tell us what you love doing and you’ll have a chance to win,” Clr Suvaal said.

Just post your entry to Facebook and Instagram, set it to public, and use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock so we can find your entry. If you mention a business, please tag them in your post.

Entries are open from May 1 until May 31, 2023 and winners will be selected at random.

In addition to the 17 double passes, Council is giving away a further two double passes for an exclusive animal encounter only for those that attend on the day, and funding entry for 50 people with a mobility impairment and their carers.

Hunter Valley Wildlife Park has been a well-loved location for fun family memories for a generation of Cessnock residents. They will be celebrating all that is great about Cessnock at their inaugural Hunter Valley Community Day on Sunday 18 June.
