Council is currently undertaking works at Bluey Frame Park, Weston that will significantly improve the community space for local families.

The $73,000 upgrade involves the installation of new play equipment, fencing and landscaping.

Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent welcomed the kick off of works.

“Residents will notice excavation works are currently underway. The project is set to be finished next month so it won’t be long before local families are out and about enjoying the space. The playground will feature a variety of options for children. This includes swings, a tower unit, climbing challenger, springer and accessible carousel.”

This park upgrade is jointly funded by Cessnock City Council and the NSW Government’s Stronger Communities Fund providing $10,000 for the works.
