To keep the community informed about roads maintenance and repairs in the Cessnock Local Government Area, Council will be providing you with regular updates on where council crews are working and what they are working on.
In the coming week, Council teams and contractors will be working on the following roads (pending weather).

Orange Street, Abermain – Major works: pavement preparation for kerb and gutter. Backfill and shape batters
Sandy Creek Road, Quorrobolong – kerb preparation and subsoil installation in Lot 5
Branxton-Greta – Shared pathway works continuing
Sawyers Gully Road, Sawyers Gully – Roadside clearing, watertabling and sedimentation control
Cessnock, Pokolbin & Nulkaba areas – Pothole repairs
Aberdare area – Drainage maintenance
Murrays Run Road, Murrays Run – Tree trimming
Wallaby Gully Road, Ellalong – Tree trimming
Watagan Creek Road – Grading unsealed road
Paxton, Millfield & Congewai areas – Pothole repairs and slashing
Kurri Kurri & Weston areas – Laneway and shoulder maintenance
Abermain area – Kerb and gutter works
Watagan Creek Road, Laguna – No. 1 Bridge Replacement
Watagan Creek Road, Laguna – No. 3 Bridge Replacement
