The Urban Growth Management Plan (UGMP) was adopted by Council on 17 March 2021. It quantifies the amount land available for residential development across the Cessnock Local Government Area, identifies future investigation areas and defines how and when these investigation areas will be brought forward. The UGMP also considers future reserves of commercial and industrial land.
