About Cessnock Youth Centre

Cessnock Youth Centre is Located at 49D Aberdare Road, Aberdare. On street parking is available, as well as alternate parking in the Turner Park carpark.

Accessibility: Cessnock Youth Centre offers accessible parking via the Turner Park carpark, with ramp access to the entrance of the facility. For all accessibility information please contact Youth Centre Staff.

Who can access Youth Services programs?

Our engagement primarily focuses on young people from the point of entering high school through to early adulthood. Most of our programs are open to participants aged 11 to 18 years, with any age-specific programs or activities clearly identified in our promotional materials.

Young People accessing Cessnock Youth Centre programs are required to complete a membership form.

Venue Hire

If you're looking for a space to hire, you may like to consider Cessnock Youth Centre. We have three spaces available to hire, including:

  • Main programming room (suitable for workshops, presentations or activities for up 35 people)
  • One furnished office space (suitable for small meetings or one on one consultations)
  • Community Kitchen (suitable for cooking workshops up to 8 people)

Venue hire fees are reviewed at the end of each financial year with affordable fee hire options available for youth services filling gaps in the community. For a list of our current fees and charges please view the Council Fees & Charges page here.

Applications for hire: All applications must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval by the Youth Services Coordinator or the Senior Youth Worker. To book a tour please contact the Youth Services team on 49934355.
