This application is required by anyone wishing to complete minor works on or access through Council owned open space and community facilities land. Council permission is needed before any works can commence.
Do not complete the Open Space & Community Facilities – Application for Minor Works form, if the proposed works, activities, or structures are within the road reserve. You will require formal approval under Section 138 of the Roads Act 1993.
Applications for Section 138 approval must be submitted through the NSW Planning Portal (Section 138 approvals | Planning Portal - Department of Planning and Environment).
