Background

Cessnock City Council has received grants under Fixing Local Roads Program and Roads to Recovery Program to rehabilitate existing road pavement at Cessnock Road Weston. 

Scope of works

Rehabilitation of road pavement between Station Street and First Street including kerb and gutter replacement, minor drainage upgrade, resurfacing and associated signs and line marking.

Road closure and traffic control 

Traffic control and detour will be in place. Intermittent road closure is expected.

Waste collection

Waste collection services will be affected during the works.

Funding 

Total of $1,010,000 from Fixing Local Roads and Roads to Recovery, as well as Council funds will deliver this project.
