The Project Completion Milestone for Stage 2 of the Anderson Avenue Walking Path works has been successfully achieved under the Active Transport to School – Get Active NSW funding program.
Construction of the new footpath connecting the existing pathway to Paxton Park has been completed, along with associated drainage works.
The walking path at Anderson Avenue, Paxton includes:
Traffic control and reduced speed limits will be in place for the duration of the works to ensure resident and pedestrian safety. This may cause minor traffic delays along portions of Anderson Avenue.
There will also be restricted access for pedestrians and bicycle riders along the northern side of Anderson Avenue. Access and parking restrictions will be in place adjacent to the work site.
Residents will be notified for how this project will impact their everyday use of this road whilst construction works are ongoing.
The project budget has been entirely funded by the ‘Active Transport to School - Get Active NSW’ Grant which has been endorsed by Transport for NSW.
