Our Bushland Festival 2025
Celebrate our region’s unique natural environment this September with Our Bushland Festival – a month-long program of free and accessible community events being held as part of Biodiversity Month.
The festival features a diverse range of activities, including tree planting, ecology walks, library story time sessions, hands-on workshops, pub trivia nights, and evening spotlighting events. With something for all ages and interests, it's a great opportunity to connect with nature and community.
Cessnock’s natural landscape is rich in biodiversity, much of it unique to the region. The festival is a chance to explore, appreciate and protect the bushland that makes the area so special.
Some events have limited capacity and require registration, so be sure to follow the links provided to secure your spot.
