Free workshop - farming for now and the future

Farming.JPG

Healthy land is productive. Learn how to assess and improve the health of your property. Everything from soil health, pasture condition, farm water, waterways, bushland, and paddock trees will be included. This information is integral if you want a healthy, productive farm, or if you just want to live knowing that you are protecting and improving your land for future generations.

This workshop is being run by Cessnock City Council and Hunter Local Land Services. Light refreshments will be provided.

This workshop is being held at a private property. Participants are asked to bring their own chair (and coffee mug so we can make this a low waste event). If people wanted to bring some of their own soil we can have a look at each person’s soil as part of the workshop. Ideally, you should bring a block of soil that is a spade wide X a spade deep with grass intact.

Register your spot today.
