Cessnock Youth Development Project

The Cessnock Youth Development Project is auspiced by Kurri Kurri Community Services as part of the Youth Services Team. There are currently 4 staff in the unit providing case-work support to local young people and their famlies.

Information Advice and Referral
Court Support at Cessnock Court
Providing awareness and understanding of current issues faced by young people
Assisting young people in voicing their own opinions
Identifying the needs of young people and facilitating the development and coordination of resources to support them
Advocating and lobbying on behalf of young people to ensure their needs are considered in the development of programs and policies
School-based programs

School welfare planning/programs
Training and resources to local youth service
