Australian Unity - Aboriginal Home Care

Australian Unity’s Aboriginal Home Care service provides culturally appropriate home and community services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout New South Wales.

Our services are provided by Aboriginal people and are designed to help you meet your goals.

Supporting you in your daily life

Personal services can be offered in your home, or in the community. They can include help with showering and dressing or other options tailored just for you.

Getting out and about

We can help you to connect with your mob more often. We can assist you with transport and support you to study, work, exercise or have fun doing your favourite hobby. We can also help you take part in local community events and activities, like Yarn Ups and important cultural celebrations.

Helping at home

We can help you with day-to-day tasks in your home like doing the laundry, cleaning, shopping and gardening.

Learning new skills

Perhaps you’d like to get a job, or learn new skills for living independently. We can offer you the training and support you need to reach your goals.

Encouraging well-being

We have an experienced team of support professionals, like physiotherapists and speech pathologists, to support your well-being. We also have access to qualified nurses in case you need health care.
