Greta Tidy Town - Sustainable Communities Group
This community group of volunteers helps in the upkeep and beautification of the local area, supported by Cessnock City Council.
It is also operates the local Greta Historical Museum and all that it entails. Hours are 11am to 3pm Wednesdays and Saturdays at 96 High Street Greta, in the former Greta Council Chambers. A free street library is put outside when the museum is open, with more books available inside.
Our newest activity is our Seniors Morning Tea, held at Greta Workers Club at 10am, usually on the second Monday of each month with exceptions for public holidays, and is not held in January.
Parking in Greta is usually not a problem, with space on the opposite side of the museum for caravans and campers.
