At Ordinary Council Meeting held 13 December 2023, Council resolved to adopt two draft Cessnock Development Control Plan (DCP) Chapters – “Introduction and Legislative Context” and “Centres”.
The new “Introduction and Legislative Context” Chapter will repeal and replace Cessnock DCP Chapter “Part A Introduction”. The new “Centres” Chapter will repeal and replace the Cessnock DCP Chapters “E16 Cessnock Commercial Precinct” and “E19 Branxton Town Centre”.

The new Chapters will come into effect on the day they are published on Council’s website.
