Cessnock City Council's Economic Development team is kicking off the New Financial Year with more support for local businesses.

For the month of July, we will be giving away three family passes and five double passes to the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park.

To win, all you need to do is tell us in 25 words or less about your favourite recreational activity in the Cessnock Local Government Area, such as visiting an amazing attraction or tourism business, your favourite park, playground or recreational area.

Mayor of the City of Cessnock Jay Suvaal said with so many amazing things to do across our local government area I know it will be hard for people to pick just one that’s why we encourage entering multiple times.

“Whether it’s spending a summers day at Branxton pool, taking a steam train ride at Richmond Vale, having a barbeque at Bridges Hill Park, or enjoying a day with your family at Hunter Valley Wildlife Park, tell us what you love doing and you’ll have a chance to win,” Mayor Suvaal said.

Just post your entry to social media, set it to public, and use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock so we can find your entry.

If you mention a business, please tag them in your post. Winners will be selected randomly, making it even easier to win.

Entries are open from July 1 until July 31, 2022.
