Cessnock City Council is inviting members of the community to attend an exciting event with bestselling Australian author Tea Cooper at Cessnock City Library on Saturday 18 November, 11am-12pm.

Tea Cooper will talk about her newest novel ‘The Talented Mrs Greenway’.

‘The Talented Mrs Greenway’ is set in 1814 Sydney Town and follows Mary Greenway, a woman of great resources and creative passion, as she moulds a life for her family from the unpromising clay of Sydney Town, with a determination fired in equal parts by guilt for her disastrous past action and a desire to realise her true calling.

Library Services Co-ordinator, Rose-marie Walters says this is a fantastic opportunity to hear from an internationally bestselling author.

“The talented Tea Cooper will discuss her story and answer all questions about the book,” said Ms Walters.

“Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the brilliant author Tea Cooper and explore her captivating story.”

Cessnock City Council thanks The Book Den Cessnock for providing copies of ‘The Talented Mrs Greenway’ which be available for sale and signing.
