Join your Local Library for your chance to win

Local residents can go into the running for a $100 Performance Arts Culture Cessnock gift voucher, as part of the 2024 Cessnock City Library Membership Drive.

Residents of the Cessnock LGA who apply for their free library card and use it to borrow a book from one of our libraries or eBranch in the months of January or February will go in the running to win one of four $100 gift vouchers.

Along with the possibility of winning a gift voucher, you will also gain access to a vast array of complimentary resources, including books, movies, music, and magazines. There are no membership fees, late fees, or reservation fees!

Library Services Coordinator, Rose-marie Walters, says the membership drive provides an added incentive to embrace the joy of learning and entertainment, all for free.

"I’m calling on all local residents to make 2024 the year you fall head over heels for your local library and the world of endless possibilities it offers," said Ms Walters.

"Don't miss out on this opportunity to join the fun. There will be two lucky winners drawn at the end of January, and two more drawn at the end of February, so head to your local library before summer ends."

All residents of the Cessnock LGA are eligible to participate in the membership drive, which concludes on 29 February 2024.
