Calling all lovers of Australian historical romantic fiction!

Cessnock Library is excited to be hosting its first author COVID safe author talks with Australian bestselling author and local, Téa Cooper from 10.30am to 11.30 on Wednesday 18 November at Cessnock and on Friday 20 November at Kurri Kurri.

Téa will discuss all things writerly and her exciting new novel, The Cartographer’s Secret, which will be available for purchase and signing on the day.

The Cartographer’s Secret is a mesmerising historical mystery set in the Hunter Valley. A young woman's quest to heal a family rift entangles her in one of Australia's greatest historical puzzles when an intricately illustrated map offers a clue to the fate of a long-lost girl.

Library Services Co-ordinator, Rose-marie Walters said Téa’s books have wide appeal.

“These books win accolades because of Téa’s gift of weaving compelling fictional narratives around fascinating historical events in Australia’s past.”

Spaces are strictly limited to ensure social distancing therefore bookings are essential. Book your spot for this event by calling the Cessnock Library on 4993 4399, Kurri Kurri on 4937 1638, online under ‘events’ at libraries.cessnock.nsw.gov.au or in person at the library desk.
