  1. Visit the Kanopy  or download the app to your device via Google Play or the App store. 
  2. Sign up to create an account with your library card.

Note:

  • You have 10 play credits each month. You have three days to view each film. Play credits reset each month.
  • While use of Kanopy is free, members are responsible for managing their own data.
  • Kids Mode allows parents to lock the platform to ensure younger audiences don’t access the full platform. Kanopy Kids is designed for pre-schoolers and up.
  • Your dashboard tracks your watch list, viewing history and play credits.
  • Most films do not receive an Australian classification due to their non-theatrical release. Guides are available to assist users with their selections. Create clips or playlists to use later.

 

Acessiblity features:

Closed Captions and subtitles: When watching a film, press CC button at the bottom-right of the screen. This will open the Captions menu. There is a toggle next to Captions, allowing you to turn them on or off. If you select the Captions Setting options, you can adjust the colour, size, and background colour for the captions.
