National Library and State Library resources


Trove is a collaboration between the National Library of Australia and hundreds of Partner organisations around Australia. It contains a huge database including archives, images, newspapers, official documents and manuscripts. It's an excellent resource for family historians looking to search for family photos and pictures.


The State Library of New South Wales is a large reference and research library open to the public. It is the oldest library in Australia, being the first library established in New South Wales.
