Council listed the project in its Operational Plan 2020-21 and applied to various funding bodies to secure the funds to construct the splash pad. The NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities program committed $242,355 and the Resources for Regions Program supported an application for $420,300 to construct the splash pad.
