Council received funding under Round 7 of the Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity Program for the upgrade of Camp Road, Greta.
This project forms part of Council's Operational Plan. You can find it within the Operational Plan with the Project ID RRL 2021 008.
Scope of work
The construction works will include:
- shoulder widening
- road pavement rehabilitation
- sealing and line-marking
- signage
- NBN relocation scope to include:
- boring line relocation closer to the boundary
- reconnection to pits
- installation of new pits
Progress
The works are scheduled to commence following the completion of Anvil Creek Bridge, Greta. Construction is estimated to begin Mid 2022 and works are expected to take approximately twelve weeks to complete, weather permitting. Preconstruction works of NBN relocation to commence 10 May 2022 for approximately 2 weeks.
Traffic control
During the course of the works, unavoidable traffic disruptions will occur. Traffic control measures will be in place to minimise disruption and specific arrangements will be made for affected residents to access their properties. The Contractor will endeavour to keep residents informed of the timing and duration of the disruptions as work progresses.
Location
The works are located at the southern end of Mansfield Street for approximately 500 metres.
