Probus Clubs provide lots of Fun, Friendship and Fellowship....the Probus Motto. Our Cessnock Probus Club is for both men and women and we meet once a month in the Cessnock Leagues Club in Darwin Street. Our meeting commences at 10.30 and consists of a very few necessary requirements followed by a Monthly Medal (questions and answers), then a great list of planned outings and events, followed by a short tea break and then we have a Speaker. The topics are varied and always interesting. We round up the morning with a raffle, close the meeting and normally have a lunch together in the Club (after you have added your name to the various outings sheets).
Mixing with new people is wonderful - you actually have absolutely nothing to lose if you come to a meeting but lots to gain ... judge it for yourself.
