Red bin replacement

Council is updating general waste bins throughout the local government area to promote better waste sorting and increase resource recovery.

There are a number of households in the waste collection area that still have original green lidded bins for general waste. Council is aiming to replace all of these green lidded bins with new red bins (in accordance with best practice waste methods), which will be consistent throughout Cessnock and surrounds.
