Hoopla Digital is now available to Cessnock City Libraries members

The popular on-demand film streaming service Hoopla Digital is now available for free through Cessnock City Libraries.

Library members can now instantly read, watch and listen to their choice of more than 875,000 titles with their library card.

Content can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform simply by downloading the Hoopla Digital app.

Library Services Coordinator, Rose-marie Walters said the diverse Hoopla Digital catalogue takes the power of a library card to a new level.

“Hoopla Digital has a unique model that allows patrons to borrow content immediately, with no availability constraints.

“It optimises content delivery for your specific device to provide the best possible experience for each user,” she said.

No card? No worries! Cessnock City residents can still sign up to the library’s 24/7 eBranch and access the huge range of free eBooks, eMagazines, music, films, documentaries and TV shows.

Simply download the new ‘Cessnock City Library’ app from the app store on your iOS or Android device and click on ‘Join.’ After completing the joining form, you will receive an automatically generated temporary membership number. Our staff will then email you an official membership number so you can start using the 24/7 eBranch.

If you need any assistance becoming a member, accessing Hoopla Digital or using the Cessnock City Library app, our friendly staff are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 02 4993 4399 or library@cessnock.nsw.gov.au. Residents are also encouraged to visit the Hoopla User Guide on the library website.
