North Cessnock Community Hall Upgrade

Upgrades have now been completed at the North Cessnock Community Hall and the Weston Civic Centre. The upgrades, totalling $126,700 allowed for important works to be undertaken to improve these special community facilities.

The project included a full refurbishment of the toilet facilities at North Cessnock Community Hall and Weston Civic Centre. Users have welcomed the improvements that make the space more comfortable and accessible.

Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent welcomed the completion of the refurbishment.

“We are always looking for funding opportunities that will allow us to carry out works on our community facilities. These spaces are vital for our community, where connections are created and residents thrive together.”

These projects were made possible through Council securing funding under the NSW Government Stronger Country Communities Round 2.
