Cessnock City Council is holding a free Learner Driver Supervisors Workshop on Thursday 26 November running from 6pm to 8pm.

The two hour workshop will be held using the online presentation platform ZOOM and will provide practical information for those teaching someone how to drive.

Council’s Road Safety Officer Alison Shelton is hosting the workshop and is looking forward to answering any questions supervisors may have.

“Thee workshops provide current information about laws for Learner and Provisional Licence holders. It’s important those teaching drivers new to our roads know the correct rules from day one. This will contribute to making our roads a safer place for all.”

The workshop will cover a variety of topics from filling out the learner driver log book, low risk driving practices and the benefits of supervised on-road driving experience.

Those interested in attending to become a more confident and informed supervisor must book to receive the ZOOM meeting link which will be issued via email. To book call Alison on 4993 4311.
