Cessnock City Council is pleased to let the community know that it will reopen its Administration Building on Vincent Street to the public on Monday 15 June 2020.

While Council’s Customer Relations Team looks forward to welcoming back customers, strict social distancing measures will remain in place.

In an effort to provide extra protection for both customers and staff, Council has installed a number of glass screens at the counter.

Cessnock City Council’s General Manager, Lotta Jackson said she would like to thank the community for their patience while the Administration Building has been closed.

“It has been a challenging few months for everyone and we are pleased to see many of our facilities reopening to the community.”

“We look forward to providing face-to-face customer service again and we ask residents to adhere to social distancing measures while inside the Administration Building,” added Lotta.

The Council Administration Building will be open during normal business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The cashier will close at 4.30pm on these days.
