Daniel Repacholi, born in 1982, has been competing as a sports shooter since he was 12 years old and has represented Australia professionally in the sport for over 15 years.

Daniel Repacholi, born in 1982, has been competing as a sports shooter since he was 12 years old and has represented Australia professionally in the sport for over 15 years.

At 22 Daniel made his Olympic debut, representing Australia at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, competing in the 10 metres Air Pistol and 50m Air Pistol.   Daniel went on to represent Australia at the 2008 Beijing Games, 2012 London Games and 2016 Rio Games, again competing in the 10 metres Air Pistol and 50m Air Pistol. In 2020 Daniel was selected to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Games.

In the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, Daniel won gold in the 10m Air Pistol and bronze in the 50m Pistol events.  In the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games he won bronze in the 10m Air Pistol, and in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games he won gold in the 10m Air Pistol and bronze in the 50m Pistol events.

In the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Daniel won gold in the 50m Pistol event, where he set a new Commonwealth Games record.

Daniel moved to Cessnock in 2009 and is an active member of the Cessnock Pistol Club.
