T2024-18 Wollombi Road Upgrade Project Stage 1 - Detailed Design

Council invites tenders for the Detailed Design and Engineering Consultancy associated with the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project (WRUP) which runs from Abbotsford Street in the south-west to Vincent Street in the north-east in Cessnock NSW. The package for Detailed Design and Egineering will advance the project to the final IFC (Issue for Construction) level of design, which will involve preperation of a 'for construction' drawing set.

Pre-Tender Meeting: A pre-tender meeting will be held. Please contact the Council Representative for date and the Contact Person will provide a link to the MS Teams meeting. Attendance by tenderers at the Pre-Tender Meeting is mandatory. Tenders submitted by tenderers who fail to attend will be passed over.

T2024-15 Cessnock Waste Management Centre – New Landfill Cell Stage 1 Construction

Council invites tenders for the Cessnock Waste Management Centre(CWMC) New Landfill Cell Stage 1 Construction. Cessnock City Council operates the Cessnock Waste Management Centre (CWMC) which includes the landfilling of solid waste at the facility.

Pre-tender Meeting: A pre-tender meeting will be held at 10am on Tuesday 16th of April 2024 by a MS Teams meeting. The Tenderer should confirm their attendance at the pre-Tender meeting by emailing the Contact Person.

T2024-20 Flood Recovery Pavement Stabilisation

Council is proposing to engage a TfNSW R75 qualified and experienced Stabilsation Contractor to carry out the remedial construction of pavement stabilisation works on multiple sections along seven (7) road sites within the Cessnock LGA.This package of pavement stabilisation works will undertake remedial repairs of multiple road pavement sections along seven (7) road sites within the Cessnock LGA.

Pre-Tender Meeting: A pre-tender meeting will be held at 11.00am on Tuesday 30th April 2024 by an MS Teams Meeting. Principal will contact tenderers that have downloaded the tender documents to confirm their participation in the meeting.After the pre-tender meeting, you will be able to access the sites by contacting the Contact Person to attend a site meeting. The Contact Person will escort the tenderers to the sites upon request. The Contact Person will be available at that time to answer any Tenderer’s queries regarding the Tender.

EOI T2024-21 Wollombi Road Upgrade Project Stage 1 Construction

Council invites EOI applications to establish resiters of suitable contractors for the construction of Stage 1 of the Wollombi Road Upgrade Project. Applicants are invited to make an initial submission on the EOI documentation, and successful respondents can then be invited to tender by selective tender. This Stage 1 upgrade will increase the travel lanes capacity between Abbotsford Street, Bellbird and West Avenue in Cessnock, to provide two lanes each way and as well as associated intersection improvements. The upgrade will also include new and upgraded cycleways, footpaths, Kerbs, and bus stops.

Pre-Tender Meeting: A pre-tender meeting will be held at 9.00am on Tuesday 30 April 2024 via MS Teams.  

Attendance by tenderers at the Pre-Tender Meeting is mandatory. Tenders submitted by tenderers who fail to attend will be passed over. Applicants must RSVP if they are attending the briefing meeting by emailing Ellen Thompson - Ellen.Thompson@cessnock.nsw.gov.au

Calling for expressions of interest from local beer and wine suppliers

As a premier creative arts hub, Performance Arts Culture Cessnock (PACC) has become synonymous with exceptional live entertainment and cultural experiences. 

In 2023 alone, PACC has welcomed nearly 27,000 visitors, creating a vibrant community space that has witnessed numerous sold-out performances. This thriving cultural haven is dedicated to providing our audience with unparalleled live entertainment experiences, ranging from stellar Australian and international theatre productions to mesmerizing dance performances; unforgettable comedy shows to original live music and acts that capture the essence of the music legends. In short, our commitment is to offer something for every taste and preference.

We recognise the rich tapestry of flavours that our Hunter Region has to offer, and aim to showcase its distinctive craftsmanship. To align with this ethos, PACC is currently seeking expressions of interest from local beer and wine suppliers interested in partnering with us for a 12-month period, with the possibility of extending this collaboration for an additional 12 months.
