Capital Works and Improvement Projects include expenditure on the acquisition and construction of new infrastructure assets and the augmentation or improvement of existing infrastructure assets.
Infrastructure assets are all the assets that comprise of public facilities which Council requires to provide essential services. They include roadworks, drainage, parking areas, parks, buildings and works installations. Council proposes to undertake the following programs over the 2010/2011 financial year:
