Benefits to the community
Project Partners The Snapshots project was an initiative of the Hunter Waste Educators Group with funding support from Department Environment and Conservation (Sustainable Programs). In addition to the Lower Hunter councils of Cessnock, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Newcastle, and Port Stephens, Snapshots was also supported by Hunter Resource Recovery, Energy Australia and Hunter Water Corporation who provided a number of items as give-aways to reinforce the sustainability message.
Attached are examples of leaflets which were developed to complement the Snapshot poster sets and are intended to provide interested people with more detailed information and hints on the four themes "in the house", "on the move", "in the yard", and "at the shop".
