FREE half day workshops were delivered to residents in Ellalong and Abermain introducing smaller landholders to land management principles that will conserve the biodiversity value of their property while minimising resource use and living comfortably. Native plant species can be the right selection for windbreaks, shade, visual screens and to enhance the habitat value of your land. 
After expressing interest in the workshop, council officers compiled fire, flood, vegetation and other natural resource information specifically for your land.
During the workshop, experts gave assistance to draft your own property plan for the future.
