Heritage Week Photo Competition

Cessnock City Council is pleased to be a part of Heritage Week from 16 to 24 April 2016 with a photo competition open to all residents within the local government area.

Cessnock City Council is pleased to be a part of Heritage Week from 16 to 24 April 2016 with a photo competition open to all residents within the local government area.

Entries for the Cessnock City Council Heritage Photography Competition are now open, providing an opportunity for our creative community to celebrate our unique local heritage.  

Photographs must contain features of a listed heritage Item, or be taken in a Heritage Conservation Area or Aboriginal Place of Heritage Significance, as listed in Schedule 5 of the Cessnock Local Environmental Plan 2011.

A full list of Heritage Items and maps of the Heritage Conservation Areas are available from www.cessnock.nsw.gov.au/heritageweek    

A panel of judges will select first, second and third place in two categories; child/youth (under 18) and adult (18 and over).  

Entries close on Friday 8 April, with winners being announced during Heritage Week.  

Entries must be submitted in JPEG format by:
