Members of the community can share their thoughts on how to manage the East Cessnock Flying-fox camp easily online.  

Cessnock City Council Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said Council has been pleased with the level of engagement to date but want as many people as possible to join the conversation.

“FlyingfoxEngage is an interesting decision support tool which informs the public about the different camp management options and ranks them in accordance with their views”, Cr Pynsent said.  

The survey only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete visit flyingfoxengage.com/eastcessnock to share your ideas.

 FlyingfoxEngage has been made possible through a partnership between the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, Department of Industry – Lands and Cessnock City Council.
