Cessnock City Library is hosting two free seminars to help people understand financial planning.

Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said the seminars are all about learning how to plan your financial future. 

“The Department of Human Services seminars will provide independent and practical information to help people take control of their finances”. 

“No products, strategies or plans are sold or recommended at the seminars, the information is intended to help people understand their options, prepare for retirement and navigate the superannuation maze”. 

“It’s great to have the Department of Human Services providing this information as a neutral and trusted source,” Cr Pynsent said.  

Understanding Your Pension

When: Tuesday 21 March 2017, 10.30-11.30am            

Retirement Income Streams
Where: Cessnock Library, 65-67 Vincent St, Cessnock
When:  Tuesday 21 March 2017, 5.30-6.30pm

These seminars are presented by the Department of Human Services Financial Information Service and offer independent and unbiased information about retirement income streams and understanding your pension.

Future seminars are planned in the coming months.
