Cessnock LGA pick of the bunch and ripe for business investment
Cessnock City Council has officially launched
its new Business Investment
The exciting initiative highlights the unlocked potential of the Cessnock Local Government Area (LGA) for businesses looking to start up or relocate into the region.
Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent applauded the Advance Cessnock City Business Investment Attraction Program as a fresh opportunity to showcase Cessnock and surrounds to domestic and international firms.
“Increasingly businesses are looking to take advantage of lifestyle, affordability and proximity to markets. Workers are more willing to relocate from Sydney and other large cities. We are ready and waiting to show these prospective investors why Cessnock City should be their first choice.”
The business investment attraction prospectus offers a range of information needed by interested parties. It includes site selection information, location, economic development support services, research into sector by sector growth opportunities, commercial and industrial lands and an economic summary report.
“Everything a business owner needs to know about Cessnock and surrounds can be found in one simple, professional and educational prospectus. Every enquiry received will be followed up,” Cr Pynsent said.
“It is an exciting time to be living in Cessnock City, with connections to major cities and services increasing exponentially. I assure you Cessnock is open for business.”
The Business Investment Attraction Program is easily accessible and can be located online at advancecessnock.com.au/investment/. For further enquiries please contact Economic Development Manager Jane Holdsworth on 4993 4257.
