Cessnock City Library will be holding its annual bargain Book Sale of pre-loved library items from Thursday 21 April until Saturday 30 April.

Cessnock City Library will be holding its annual bargain Book Sale of pre-loved library items from Thursday 21 April until Saturday 30 April.

A wide range of pre-loved library materials are being sold at very low prices.

The opening day of the book sale has been known to attract more than 200 people who were out to snag a bargain.

Customer and Information Services Team Leader Andrew Powell recommends to get in quick as stock will fly out of the door.

“Items for sale include a huge range of ex-library items and donations for both adults and children including books, magazines, music and DVDs,” Andrew said.

“We’re aiming to sell as many items as possible so everything will be at bargain prices.”

The proceeds of the sale will be used for the purchase of additional new stock for the Library.

The book sale will run until Saturday 30 April or until all items are sold.

The sale books will be located in the front foyer of Cessnock City Library during normal opening hours.
