Library and Information Week kicks off next week and to celebrate Cessnock City Libraries are hosting two great free author talks. 

Library and Information Week kicks off next week and to celebrate Cessnock City Libraries are hosting two great free author talks.  

Hunter Author Greg Powell will discuss his book Bushranger Tracks which includes the bushrangers of the Hunter, their hang outs and notorious misdemeanours and is at Cessnock Library on Thursday 24 May at 5.30pm.  

Australian music journalist and biographer, Jeff Apter will be discussing his new book High Voltage: the life of Angus Young – AC/DC’s last man standing. Jeff will be appearing at Kurri Kurri Library on Thursday 24 May at 5.30pm.  

Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said there is nothing quite like an author visit to give locals an unforgettable experience.
