Cessnock City Council is considering a new Aquatic Centre for Cessnock and is calling for community input before the public exhibition period closes on Friday 19 August 2016.  

The new facility would be located at Turner Park, Cessnock and will include either an indoor 25m 10 lane pool and outdoor 51m 8 lane pool (Option 1) or an indoor 25m 8 lane pool, indoor 51m 10 lane pool and a crèche (Option 2).  

Both options include a leisure pool, learn to swim pool, warm water program pool, spa and sauna, water slides, outdoor water play, improved car parking, swimming club facilities, meeting rooms and kiosks.

Written submissions should be addressed to the General Manager and will be accepted up until 4.00 pm Friday 19 August 2016.
