School holidays are just around the corner and Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries have an action-packed program of events lined up to keep local kids entertained.

School holidays are just around the corner and Cessnock and Kurri Kurri Libraries have an action-packed program of events lined up to keep local kids entertained.

Kicking off on Monday 16 April and running through to Friday 27 April, there’s something for everyone and there is an overarching theme of magic!

This year, our local Youth Week celebrations coincide with the holidays and our libraries will host a Harry Potter Escape Room and a pop-up selfie station photo booth with Harry Potter props.

For our younger witches and wizards, there’s a Hogwarts Potions Class in the second week of the holidays, so wear old clothes as these potions can be unpredictable!

And if you’re looking to make your dreams come true, you can practice some real life practical magic in a vision board workshop run by respected expert in all things spooky and magical, Renata Daniel.

If magic is not your thing, you can make a beautiful hand-made gift in the gift making workshop, or sit back and enjoy a film.   Pick up a program today from Cessnock or Kurri Kurri Library or download here.

Book your spot to make sure you don’t miss out by calling Cessnock Library on 4993 4399 or Kurri Kurri Library on 4937 1638.
