Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said Council will also send a letter to eligible applicants.
“We’re proud of our past and assisting in the conservation of heritage listed properties is important. Over the years the grants provided under this program have achieved some fantastic restorations and it will be great to see what projects are successful under this round. Last year’s grant program funded conservation works for the Masonic Hall, Cessnock."
The fund will be administered in accordance with the Council’s Local Heritage Fund Guidelines. These guidelines outline the type of projects that can be funded, who can apply and how funds are to be matched. Applications must be lodged by 25 September 2019.
