Law Week will be held from 14 to 20 May 2018 and to celebrate, Cessnock City Libraries will host two free talks by a local solicitor based on the topic, planning ahead.

These talks will be hosted by local solicitor, Lisa Littlewood and will cover enduring guardianship, will and estate planning, power of attorney and protecting your choices later in life.

For those who are interested in coming along, the talks will take place from 10 to 11am on Tuesday 15 May at Kurri Kurri Library and Thursday 17 May at Cessnock Library.

Cessnock City Mayor, Councillor Bob Pynsent said this is a great opportunity for locals as getting your affairs in order is important, no matter your age or health.

“None of us ever plan to be unwell or to have an emergency, but these planning ahead workshops can help make all the difference in times of need.”

To book your spot, contact Kurri Kurri Library on 4937 1638 or Cessnock Library on 4993 4399.
