Election Day is only days away, with pre-poll concluding on 9 September 2016 and the election being held on Saturday 10 September from 8am – 6pm. Please follow instructions on how to vote and make your vote count.

Polling officials will be available at each polling place to provide any assistance.

A resource has been developed by the NSW Council for Intellectual Disability in partnership with the Electoral Commission, designed to promote inclusiveness and provide assistance on how to vote. Copies of the publication are available at Cessnock City Council’s Customer Service Counter.

Voters should be aware that polling places may be different to those used for the Federal election and should check with the NSW Electoral Commission to confirm where they can vote.
