Council performs Citizenship Ceremonies twice a year, on Australia Day and mid year. If a recipient is requiring an urgent ceremony an extra ceremony can be organised through the Mayor’s office by telephoning 4993 4210.
The Mayor of the City is the Presiding Officer and is duly authorised by law to conduct a Citizenship Ceremony under the authority of the Minister of Immigration and Citizenship.
