You must refer to the relevant position description to provide information on part B & C of the application. The position description contains the selection criteria both essential and desirable. Shortlisting for interview is based on how well you address this selection criteria.
When addressing the selection criteria it is not sufficient to state that you meet the criteria, you must demonstrate how you meet each criterion by using relevant examples to support how you have gained the skills in the statement. As a guide, each statement should be no more than 2 or 3 paragraphs and please make sure you identify each criterion by using the numbers provided in the position description or by writing out each criterion.
Your employment history should have the employers listed in date order with the most recent employer listed first. Also include any relevant voluntary work experience.
Please provide a listing of your relevant tertiary and/or secondary qualifications you have completed or currently studying. The second section in Part E refers to providing a listing of any relevant licences including any applicable expiry dates. In the third section of this part please provide details of any relevant professional development or training you have undertaken.
Please provide only copies of any of the qualifications you have mentioned in your application. Council will require to sight the originals of certificates or academic transcripts at a later stage of the recruitment process.

Council requires at least three recent referees who can comment on your work performance and work history. Your referees must be people who have supervised your work. In submitting this application you are providing authority for Council to contact your referees. In cases where you do not want your current employer to be aware of your application and can not provide a current supervisors name, please make a note of this on your application form. Contact will be made with you if Council requires a current supervisor referee.
Reference checks are only made with those people you have nominated and will only be contacted if you have been interviewed and your application is being seriously considered for appointment.
